Suburban Journals of St. Clair County Jill Gocal and the Egyptian staff went many extra miles to make sure our furnishings were just right for the building.

This month we focus on the opening of the Suburban Journals of St. Clair County's new offices. This 9000 square foot facility at 5050 Old Collinsville road in Swansea is now the home for many of the Suburban Journals employees. The facility was recently completed and opened a month ahead of schedule. The Journal’s offices contain board and meeting rooms as well as a lunch facility. In addition, the ergonomic work stations were designed in an open zig zag configuration to promote better communications, work and light flow.	Thus creating a more open feel to the space. This approach greatly improved their previous environment with poor lighting, mismatched furniture and uncomfortable seating. Each worker now enjoys an ergonomic state of the art chair, directional and adjustable lighting and space to create a personal and comfortable environment.
